About Michelle Dawn
Once upon a time there lived a girl called Michelle who fell in love with the man of her dreams at the age of 15 - Fast forward 16 years and she now shares her life with her man - two sons and two dogs and is now able to do the job of her dreams - being a full time Artist.
Michelle discovered Encaustic Art in 2003 and has never looked back! She now has an art studio and attends many craft fayres and exhibitions around the south west - always demonstrating and promoting Encaustic Art as well as selling her own paintings.
Michelle has also sold a great many paintings and miniatures(ACEO's) across the world - her artwork is very popular throughout America but also has collectors in Poland, Canada, New Zealand and various other locations.
Michelle discovered that although she was painting in very many different styles it was always the fantasy paintings that people were drawn to - and so she decided to create her own fantasy fairiesand creatures to adorn her fantasy paintings.
These paintings have proved to be hugely popular as well as her VW Camper Paintings which are often painted on sheet metal copper - something that has rarely been seen before.
Michelle also offers workshops for people to have a go at this exciting way of creating art!
Michelle loves to experiment with different methods and styles of Encaustic Wax as there is so much that has yet to be discovered about this medium so this website will be forever evolving and surprising - bringing a little bit of magic to everyone that visits!!!
